FAQ:
Love these, but I want to see more. How can I get more examples if I’m not finding the color palette I really want?
A: Luckily, you have a few different options:
You can send me an email (aurea@aureaalmeida.com) with a photo that inspires you, I’ll reply with the 5 color codes you need to bring it to life. And, I can do a few other suggestions that are similar to your inspo.
Look into the psychology of color. I used it as I thoughtfully combined the colors and names to simply help you identify what those color combinations convey.
Create a Pinterest board for a single look, collect photos with that you’re really into. Then, look for those pantone color cards and pin it to the board. This helps you visualize the color combinations similar to the way I’ve done it above.
I found one I really like, but what do I do with it now?
A: Girl, there are a ton of things for you to do with these color codes, so try these on for size first:
On your website, change your primary color (usually, you use the very first color provided in a palette) and your buttons to the darker of the last two colors on the palette.
For your Instagram story highlight covers, use either the primary color of the palette or you certainly can use a combination of them.
When posting quotes, use your palette to create your frames and font color.
Your email templates should use your palette as well. If it’s primarily white, use the colors for font colors, button colors or other color elements.
How can I choose one when I don’t know what it looks like on a webpage?
A: Everyone’s webpage is unique. Even if it’s from a template, what the vibe means to you and your audience is unique. With that said, simply change your color palette on your site editor or make color changes on a single webpage and preview it. If you like it, publish it!
